Translated from the SS original, this booklet was aimed at potential recruits and their parents. Much of the booklet deals with career opportunities in the Waffen-SS, including acceptance conditions, military training, professional training, and promotion opportunity. This is followed by several interesting short war stories including security police actions against partisans on the eastern front. Waffen-SS troop color insignia and a comparison of Waffen-SS and Heer (army) ranks come near the end of the booklet. Finally, at the end is an application to join the Waffen-SS (However modern day Waffen-SS fans should note that the address list of SS recruitment offices is presumably somewhat out of date.)
